Marg Alexander

Marg Alexander is a photographic artist whose work explores the relationships between landscapes, time and the human experience. Working with innovative digital processes, she creates imagery that is often moody, serene and contemplative. Her photos frequently involve subtle interventions within the landscape that encourage viewers to reconsider familiar natural forms and the connections we have to them. Through quiet disruptions, she explores themes of visibility, perception and the cultural narratives that shape our response to ageing, grief and the natural world.

Her recent projects include Bundy in the Pocket (2025), about the critically endangered Eucalyptus carolaniae, and Don’t Tell Me You’re Sorry (2024), which reflected on the complex emotional landscape of grief in the wake of suicide.
